About Me

My love of writing was birthed in my obsession with reading. As a child, I would go to the library regularly, borrowing the maximum number of titles allowed, and returning them ahead of schedule; *and repeat.

Reading, for me, was the place I could hide, losing myself inside the minds of the characters and imagining myself in their place. For a long time, though, writing was confined to academic study, becoming more pleasurable only when I discovered an affinity with song-writing.

Everything changed when I attended a writing retreat in 2013. Everything.

Early opportunity put me on the radio, becoming Creative Writer in Residence on the Sunday Breakfast Show of BBC Radio Norfolk in January 2014. Since then, I have been popping up regularly on Premier Christian Radio and UCB.

I’m an active member of the Association of Christian Writers, serving on the Committee between 2016 and 2019.

Spare time hobbies? Well, if ever I found some of these mythical moments, I would be knitting, dressmaking and walking through the lanes of rural Norfolk around my home.
